Status and identity details. This document is the pre-contractual information form and distance sales agreement drawn up under Article 48 of Turkish Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and under the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation. For consumers resident in the European Union it also serves as the pre-contractual information required by Article 6 of Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, as transposed into the law of your Member State.
In-app purchasing in Traknock is not open as at today's date. The app is not published in any store, so no consumer transaction has been concluded under this document. It is published in advance so that it takes effect on the date purchasing is opened.
The seller's trade name or full name, its postal address for service and its telephone number are mandatory elements of pre-contractual information under points (b) and (c) of Article 5/1 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation and points (b) and (c) of Article 6(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU. These fields are set out one by one in the table in Article 2. In-app purchasing will not be opened until every one of those fields has been completed and published. This is a unilateral and binding undertaking: opening sales while the fields are blank would itself constitute a breach of the pre-contractual information duty.
In this document the following terms have the meanings set out below:
The supplier of the in-app digital content and digital service is the developer and rights holder of the Traknock app. As at today that person is a natural person established in Türkiye: Fahri Selçuk, trading under the name Traknock. On the date purchasing is opened, the capacity of seller will belong to the trading company if its incorporation has been completed by then, and otherwise to that same natural person.
| Mandatory element | Legal basis | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Trade name or full name | Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(b); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(b) | Fahri Selçuk (natural person acting as seller). A registered trade name will replace this entry once incorporation is complete |
| Postal address for service | Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(c); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(c) | To be entered here; sales will not open until this field is filled |
| Telephone number | Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(c); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(c) | +90 533 598 34 09 — in service |
| MERSİS (Turkish central trade registry) and tax identification number | Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(b) | Arises on acquisition of legal personality; to be entered on incorporation |
| Email address | Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(c); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(c) | info@traknock.com — operational |
| Complaints and objections channel | Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(ç); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(t) | info@traknock.com (see Article 15) |
The fact that the address field is blank today does not constitute a breach: no consumer transaction has been concluded and sales are closed. Completing those fields is, however, a precondition of opening sales.
The buyer is the user who opens an account in Traknock and makes an in-app purchase. Because the app runs on anonymous authentication, the seller never sees the buyer's name, address, telephone number or payment instrument details at any stage; that information remains in the buyer's Google account. The only financial data that reaches the seller is the purchase receipt and order number used to verify the purchase (see Article 14).
Persons who use the app for commercial or professional purposes are not consumers, and the provisions enacted in favour of consumers by Law No. 6502 and by Directive 2011/83/EU do not apply to them (see Article 18).
All in-app purchases are made through Google Play. Collection of payment, invoicing and refunds are carried out by Google under the Google Play Terms of Service. In Türkiye, the party that calculates, collects and declares value added tax is Google.
In practice this split has the following consequence:
The seller never sees, processes or stores the buyer's card or bank details at any stage.
This agreement governs the rights and obligations of the parties in relation to the digital content (token packages) and digital services supplied for a period (Prime subscriptions) ordered by the buyer electronically from inside the Traknock app.
All products sold are intangible. There is no physical delivery and no shipping or carriage charge arises. No cost beyond the basic rate is charged for the means of distance communication used to conclude the contract (Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(e); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(f)).
Provisions on free use of the app, on user conduct and on suspension and closure of accounts are set out in the Terms of Use and the Community Rules; this agreement does not replace them but applies alongside them.
This Article sets out the main characteristics of the products that are the subject of the contract, as required by point (a) of Article 5/1 of the Distance Contracts Regulation and point (a) of Article 6(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
A token is a virtual unit spent in return for certain actions inside the app. It is credited to your account at the moment of purchase, has no expiry date and is tied to the account.
| Package | Contents | Reference price (TRY, VAT included) |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | 100 tokens | 49.99 |
| Driver | 600 tokens | 199.99 |
| Pro | 1,500 tokens | 449.99 |
| Fleet | 4,000 tokens | 999.99 |
| King | 12,000 tokens | 2,499.99 |
The figures above are the Turkish list prices and are given so that you can see the ratio between the packages. The price that binds you is the one shown on the Google Play payment screen in your own currency, including the tax applicable in your country (see Article 5).
Correction made in this version. The version of this document dated 7 September 2026 described the Fleet and King packages as including a "permanent daily Boost slot". On review it was established that no such entitlement exists in the app, and the wording has been removed from the agreement. Token packages sell tokens only; they confer no additional entitlement, credit or cosmetic privilege. The sole source of a daily Boost entitlement is a Prime subscription (Article 4.3).
Knowing what the thing you are buying actually does is part of the main characteristics of the product. Every action for which tokens are spent, and the current cost of each, is set out below:
| Action | Free allowance | Once the free allowance is used |
|---|---|---|
| Opening a one-to-one chat (first message) | None | 100 tokens |
| Second message sent before the other party replies | None | 50 tokens |
| Third message sent before the other party replies | — | Cannot be sent. This lock cannot be released with tokens or any other payment; it lasts until the other party writes back |
| Window knock | 2 free per day | 10 tokens |
| Posting a road report | First report of the day is free | 5 tokens |
| Posting a help call | Always free — at most one call every two hours | — |
| Chat opened through a help call | Always free | — |
| Opening the glovebox (cosmetic item) | None | 100 tokens |
What you need to know about the glovebox before you buy. The glovebox is a section that gives you items which change how the app looks. Which item you get is not known in advance, so read the conditions below before deciding to buy.
1. Every opening always produces an item. There is no empty outcome. The draw is made only from items that are not already in your collection, so an item you have already received cannot come out a second time.
2. All items are equally likely. There is no difference in value, tier or rarity between them. Whatever the number of remaining items, each one's probability is one divided by that number, and this rate is shown in the app directly above the open button.
3. There are twelve items in total. Once you have collected them all, the glovebox closes and you are not charged again. The most you can spend in this section is therefore 1,200 tokens. If new items are added in future this number may rise, and these terms will be updated when that happens.
4. The glovebox never gives tokens. Tokens you spend are not returned, do not multiply and are not refunded. Items received cannot be converted to cash, sold, given to another user, or transferred separately from your account.
5. The glovebox does not open while the vehicle is moving. This section is subject to the same driving lock that applies across the app: while the vehicle is moving the screen is locked, and it is released only when you declare that you are a passenger. That declaration cannot be verified; responsibility rests with the user who makes it. Using the app while driving remains the driver's own responsibility under Turkish Highway Traffic Law no. 2918.
Two limits you should know before you buy:
1. The 100-token Starter package is enough to open exactly one chat, or one glovebox. Judge the package prices against that measure.
2. For as long as the other party does not reply to you, you cannot send a third message, and that lock cannot be released with money. In other words, what you can do with the tokens you have bought depends in part on the other party's behaviour. This limit was put in deliberately to prevent persistence and harassment; it is not a defect and it cannot be lifted after purchase.
Besides buying them, tokens can also be earned inside the app at no cost: 5 tokens per rewarded advertisement watched, up to a maximum of 6 advertisements per hour. This is an alternative to purchasing; there is no difference in use between purchased tokens and earned tokens.
Prime is a membership that unlocks additional features for the duration of the subscription. The tiers are cumulative: Gold includes everything in Plus, and Platinum includes everything in Gold.
| Tier | Features unlocked |
|---|---|
| Plus | Browsing without appearing · Seeing who viewed your profile · Ad-free use · Posting in street chat and in general chat |
| Gold | All Plus features · 1 Boost per day · Tier badge (a coloured frame by tier on nearby driver cards) |
| Platinum | All Gold features · 2 Boosts per day |
| Plan | Period | Reference price (TRY, VAT included) | Token bonus per billing period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Plus | 7 days | 59.99 | 10 tokens |
| Gold | 7 days | 99.99 | 40 tokens |
| Platinum | 7 days | 169.99 | 75 tokens |
| Plus | 30 days | 149.99 | 50 tokens |
| Gold | 30 days | 279.99 | 150 tokens |
| Platinum | 30 days | 449.99 | 300 tokens |
A note on the room chats: posting a message in street chat and in general chat both require a Prime subscription, while reading either room and reacting to existing messages with an emoji are free. That limit is set out in Article 13.2 of the Terms of Use, and the table above is written to reflect exactly how the application behaves today. The in-app purchase screen currently describes this feature only as "posting in general chat"; that screen text will be brought into line with this article before the app is published in the stores.
The token bonus is credited to your account once in each billing period. When the subscription renews and the new period is verified server-side, the bonus is granted again; it is not granted a second time within the same period.
A Boost promotes you on the map for two hours from the moment it is activated. It does not run automatically; you must start it from the app to use the entitlement. An unused daily entitlement does not carry over to the next day.
Under points (i) and (j) of Article 5/1 of the Distance Contracts Regulation and points (r) and (s) of Article 6(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU:
The prices shown in the tables above are the list prices applicable in Türkiye and express the total amount inclusive of value added tax (Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(d); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(e)). No further charge for carriage, delivery, service or the like arises beyond that amount.
The binding price is the amount shown on the Google Play payment screen at the moment of purchase. If you are buying from another country, the price will differ according to that country's currency and tax rate. The screens inside the app also show, in priority, the current price received from the store.
Prices may change. A change applies only to purchases made after it; the price of a completed purchase is not altered retroactively. If the fee for an ongoing subscription is to change at renewal, you will be informed before the renewal and your ability to cancel is preserved.
Once payment is approved, the purchase is verified server-side and the product is credited to your account immediately. There is no separate delivery period; supply is completed electronically at the moment of purchase.
If verification fails, the purchase is not completed on the store side. In that case Google refunds the price of the unconsumed item under its own rules. A buyer who has paid but whose product has not reached their account may write to info@traknock.com; the request will be assessed under Article 11.
Prime subscriptions are concluded for a fixed term and renew automatically at the end of that term; the fee is charged again. Unless you stop the renewal, the subscription continues of its own accord. The duration of the contract and the conditions for terminating it are set out in this Article, as required by point (o) of Article 6(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU.
Notice of automatic renewal. The renewal date, the renewal amount and the method of cancellation are shown by Google Play before renewal, on the subscription screen and at the email address registered to your account. You can see the status of your subscription at any time from Google Play → Subscriptions.
How to cancel — step by step:
You do not need to apply to the seller in order to cancel, and the seller's approval is not required. Cancellation can be carried out by the same means and with the same ease as the subscription was taken out; termination is not made subject to any condition more onerous than conclusion. This reflects the requirement of Turkish subscription law that termination not be more burdensome than formation, and the requirement of the California Automatic Renewal Law (California Business and Professions Code § 17600 et seq.) that cancellation be available through the same medium in which the subscription was taken out.
If the subscription becomes impossible to supply for a reason attributable to the seller, the price of the paid but unusable period may be reclaimed. Such a request is made under the procedure in Article 11.
In distance contracts a consumer is, as a rule, entitled to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving any reason and without paying any penalty (Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 9; Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 9).
There is no right of withdrawal for these products. Under point (ğ) of Article 15/1 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation, there is no right of withdrawal in contracts relating to services performed instantaneously in an electronic environment or intangible goods delivered instantaneously to the consumer.
For consumers in the European Union the same result follows from point (m) of the first paragraph of Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU: the right of withdrawal does not apply to the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium where performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and their acknowledgement that they thereby lose the right of withdrawal, and where the trader has provided confirmation of the contract in accordance with Article 8(7) of that Directive.
Token packages are intangible goods written to your balance at the moment of purchase, and Prime subscriptions are services whose performance begins electronically at the moment of purchase. Both fall within this exception.
The limit of the exception. This exception applies together with the confirmation step described below. Where that confirmation has not been obtained and performance has nevertheless begun, we accept that the right of withdrawal remains exercisable, and writing to us is enough to exercise it. This sentence is here deliberately: under Article 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU the consumer's consent, their acknowledgement and the trader's confirmation are conditions of the exception itself, so stating that there is no right of withdrawal before those conditions are met would misstate the position.
This notice is given because it must be given before the contract is concluded, under point (h) of Article 5/1 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation and point (k) of Article 6(1) of Directive 2011/83/EU; this Article is that notice.
The confirmation step on the purchase screen. The purchase screen contains a separate and express confirmation step (added on 21 September 2026) showing that you request performance to begin immediately and that you know you will therefore be unable to exercise the right of withdrawal. Performance does not begin before that confirmation is obtained. Under EU law that consent and acknowledgement are conditions of the exception itself; under Turkish law the pre-contractual information required for the exception is already contained in this Article, and the confirmation step is added as a further legal safeguard.
If a case arises in which the right of withdrawal can be exercised, notice of withdrawal may be sent to info@traknock.com (Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(ğ); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(h)).
The absence of a right of withdrawal does not mean you can never obtain a refund. There are two separate routes and both are open:
Where the product purchased is not delivered at all, is delivered incompletely, does not have the qualities stated in the contract, or a promised feature does not work, the supply is non-conforming.
Under Turkish law:
For consumers in the European Union:
Send your request to info@traknock.com. Stating the date of purchase, your Google Play order number and your username in the app speeds up the review. Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest; this period is an undertaking by the seller and does not limit the consumer's statutory rights of recourse.
Your option in respect of a subscription when deleting your account. If you wish to delete your account during a subscription period that you have paid for and not yet used, you can write to us before you delete; we will assess your claim in respect of the remaining period and notify you of the outcome within 30 days. This option has been added deliberately so that a consumer who deletes their account of their own accord is not left wholly deprived of a price they have paid. It is provided in view of the rules on unfair terms in consumer contracts (Council Directive 93/13/EEC and the Turkish Regulation on Unfair Terms in Consumer Contracts).
This pre-contractual information form and contract text is kept accessible permanently and free of charge at this address: traknock.com/en/purchase-terms/. The legal texts section on the app's profile screen also links to this page.
The text has been drawn up in plain and intelligible language, in a clear, simple and legible form, as required by Article 6 of the Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation. By giving the confirmation on the purchase screen, the buyer confirms that they have received the pre-contractual information (Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 7; Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 8(7)).
Because the app does not collect email addresses, a copy of the contract cannot be sent to the buyer's email address. Instead the text is kept accessible at the address above, unchanged and without time limit, and the record of the purchase is kept in the buyer's own account in Google Play order history. Every version of the contract in force, and the dates of those versions, are shown in Article 19.
Whether that arrangement satisfies the requirement to provide confirmation on a durable medium is one of the points left open for legal review at the end of this document.
The data processed in the purchase process, the legal bases for processing and the retention periods are explained in the Privacy Policy. In summary, as regards purchases:
We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising within the meaning of the California Consumer Privacy Act (California Civil Code § 1798.100 et seq.). Your rights under the GDPR, the KVKK and applicable state privacy laws, and how to exercise them, are set out in the Privacy Policy.
You can send requests concerning your personal data to privacy@traknock.com.
Write to us first. You can send any complaint or objection relating to a purchase to info@traknock.com (Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(ç); Directive 2011/83/EU Art. 6(1)(t)). Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest.
For payment and refund matters, the Google Play support channels are also open to you (Article 10).
Legal routes in Türkiye (Turkish Distance Contracts Regulation Art. 5/1-(k)): in disputes arising from this agreement, the Consumer Arbitration Committees at the consumer's place of residence or at the place where the consumer transaction was carried out have jurisdiction within the monetary thresholds redetermined each year by the Turkish Ministry of Trade, and the Consumer Courts have jurisdiction above those thresholds. Applications may be made through the Consumer Information System (TÜBİS) on e-Devlet.
Legal routes in the European Union. You may bring your complaint before a certified alternative dispute resolution entity in your own Member State under Directive 2013/11/EU on consumer ADR, and before the courts of your country of habitual residence (Article 18). Please note: the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 following the repeal of Regulation (EU) No 524/2013 by Regulation (EU) 2024/3228, and it is therefore no longer available. Earlier versions of this page referred to that platform; the reference has been removed. Consumers with a cross-border complaint can obtain assistance from the European Consumer Centres Network (ECC-Net) in their country.
Consumers in the United States. Nothing in this agreement limits your rights under the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 8401–8405), under Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, or under the automatic renewal and consumer protection laws of your state, including the California Automatic Renewal Law. You may bring a claim in the small claims court of your place of residence.
The right to apply to a consumer arbitration committee, to a consumer court or to any other competent authority cannot be restricted by any provision of this agreement.
The seller uses reasonable endeavours to supply the service without interruption. Temporary interruptions may occur in cases of maintenance, updates, faults originating with an infrastructure provider, changes in legislation or force majeure. If an interruption extends so as to cover a substantial part of a paid subscription period, your claim in respect of the affected period will be assessed under Article 11.
This Article does not exclude the seller's liability for its own intent or gross negligence, nor does it affect any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable mandatory law.
This agreement may be updated because of changes in legislation or changes made to the product. Updates take effect only in respect of purchases made after they come into force.
Material changes to the price, to the main characteristics of the product or to subscription conditions that affect an ongoing subscription will be notified before the renewal date, and your ability to cancel is preserved. If a paid feature is withdrawn, the users who purchased that feature are informed inside the app.
This agreement is governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. For consumer transactions in Türkiye, the routes of recourse in Article 15 apply.
If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection afforded to you by the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence (Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008 on the law applicable to contractual obligations, "Rome I", for consumers in the European Union, and the equivalent rules of your own jurisdiction elsewhere). This agreement may not be interpreted so as to remove the protection that law affords you, and you may bring proceedings before the courts of that country.
Where the buyer is not a consumer, the courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul have jurisdiction over disputes.
By giving the confirmation on the purchase screen, the buyer declares that they have read this pre-contractual information form, that they have been informed of the main characteristics of the product and of the total price among other matters, and that they accept the distance sales agreement. The contract is deemed concluded at the moment Google Play approves the purchase.
| Version | Date | Change |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | 7 September 2026 | First publication |
| 2 | 18 September 2026 | Mandatory pre-contractual information satisfied item by item; the unsupported Boost promise in the Fleet and King packages removed; reference price tables restored to the English version; token spending table and the message lock added; subscription cancellation written out step by step; the withdrawal exception restated with its legal basis and with the undertaking to add a confirmation step; conformity remedies separated for goods and for services and aligned with Directive (EU) 2019/770; option added in respect of subscriptions on account deletion; the discontinued EU ODR platform reference removed. In an adversarial review the same day: the fact that, because of anonymous authentication, a token balance cannot be recovered on a change of device while a Prime subscription carries over was written into Article 4.4 as a main characteristic of the product; the statement that charging stops by itself at the end of the paid period after account deletion was corrected; the withdrawal exception was tied to the confirmation step on the purchase screen; the burden of proof citation was corrected to Article 12(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/770; the in-app link was corrected to the profile screen. A consistency check across the whole set the same evening closed three further gaps between this contract and the other four documents: the retention period for purchase records was tied to the same ground as in the Privacy Policy (Article 82 of the Turkish Commercial Code, 10 years, followed by anonymisation); the feature sold at the Plus tier was corrected to "posting in street chat and in general chat" to match how the app actually behaves, with an undertaking to align the in-app purchase screen before publication; and the two-hour limit on help calls was added to Article 4.2 |
This version was published on 18 September 2026 and will enter into force, together with the completion of the identity fields in Article 2, on the date in-app purchasing is opened. The previous version has ceased to have effect.
The matters below could not be confirmed with certainty from the sources available when this text was prepared, and have been flagged transparently so that they can be assessed separately in legal review. This heading will be removed once the identity fields have been completed and the text has entered into force.
